There is no way salt would do that to a 2011. And trust me, I have lived in MN my whole life and know about salt... LOL.

OP: Yes that is ridiculous. It wouldn't be okay on an AVEO, let alone a 50k tahoe.

My mom's 11 Tahoe did just that same thing, except twice as bad. She told the dealer and they replaced it with no charge. They told her it's been a problem with newer Tahoes.

Jesus. Can't you get a low end escalade for 65k? I know you can get a Denali for that. I must admit that SUV pricing is not something I keep up on.

My wife is the other way around. She could drive anything up to around 45k or so, and she picks a Cruze.... LOL
