running the cutouts for a daily driver would that mess up the engine or computer?

I wouldnt run cutouts open at all times, you will prob be getting some noise tickets.
I wouldnt think it would hurt the engine. look at all the drag racers, open headers

nah, you should be fine.

but if you are that worried about your warranty, i would just leave the car alone, performance wise, until the warranty is up.

That's why I want cutouts, in NM I've never seen anyone get a ticket for a loud car( where I'm at) last year there was a gto with just headers no complaints.
