That beemer is NICE! And to think I'm only a Sgt (SSgt select), you inspire me GySgt. One day, one day, lol.

My wife doesn't drive mine because it intimidates her. Mine's a stick but that's not an issue. All of my vehicles are sticks. She's 5'4" and claims she can"t see out over the hood very well. She's prolly driven it 6-7 x's since I bought it in FEB 10. She has a penchant for curbing rims too so I'm grateful my car intimidates her. FTR she loves riding in it. We took it down to NO from MO last week (10 hrs each way) and she commented several times on how comfortable the car was.

Tommy, if I get back and my battery's dead, I might need you to come down and give me a jump. Lord only knows where the battery is in that Beemer. LoL

Congrats on SSgt selection! That's awesome. I remember when I had my number. The wait was killing me! I had to wait 7 months. I loved being a Sgt. I wish I coulda stayed that rank, just increased my pay. Trust me, you'll know what I mean. Nobody knows what a SSgt, Gunny, etc is. They all know what a Sgt is though. OohRah Devil...

SixJak, Dizzam! that's a sick stripe job you got. Yeah, my wife's a lil bitty woman too. 5'4" also. She says the loud pipes give her a headache, and she can't hear the radio. LoL

Thank you! Yeah my number is 2450, I have alot of ways to go, haha. I haven't been in that long compared to my peers so I don't mind waiting alittle bit. Haven't seen the West side yet but i'm sure my career will take me there. Plan on going the drill instructor route but chances are since the Marine Corp is cutting back the budget they'll most likely send me to P.I. But I appreciate the motivation! Thanks again!

Yeah bro. I'm retiring this year. My number was 2735. I was 439 when I made Gunny. Be proud you have a high ass number. That means you probably got deep selected above some other senior Sgts. Good luck!

My hubby doesn't drive the Camaro. Then again, I don't drive the Silverado. It's fair.

Ok, she did it! Took it to work today. Talked to her while she was driving, so I could hear the "rumble". It's all good.

My wife tried to drive my SS/RS/M6. She has had experience driving a stick shift but not in a long time. She gets in the drivers side and lets the clutch out super slow. Then she pushed on the gas A LOT. As you all know you don't have to push the gas pedal very hard. She comes up to a stop sign where the road has to go across 4 lanes of expressway. She was pretty nervous and she let the clutch out to fast and stalled the car right in the middle of the expressway with traffic coming. Then she couldn't get it started because she didn't push the clutch in. I was yelling at her to push the clutch in and start the car! Finally started the car and we got out of the way without getting T-boned.

She will never drive my car again says her.
