I'll ask a question if you don't mind:

In 1971 and 1972 The top of the line C/K truck was the Cheyenne.
What was the nearly identically trimmed out 1969 and 1970 truck called?

What was the LAST YEAR, prior to the '90 Chev Silverado SS454, that you could get a Big Block in a 1/2 Ton Pickup? What option(s) besides the engine were required?

Still have...no, sold it two years ago...had it since 1988. Cowl was getting too bad and I really didn't want to take it down to frame off

I can only guess on this, 1974 because they added the small block 400 in 1975. Options required? no clue, how bout auto trans and PS

I didn't work at a Chevy dealer....I worked at a service station while going to school and messing around with my 64 chevelle l

Not positive about the year but I believe one required option your thinking of is Dulie option- 6 wheel.

On 2WD Pickups, you had to order package F44, referred to as "BIG 10"...sticker on the rear fenders!...which gave you a 6200lb GVW.

Other than an L82 Vette, and a T/A 400 Trans Am or Formula, it was the quickest GM vehicle built that year!
