1969: Go to "that site"...you know the one...and an L71 was ALWAYS ONLY RATED (by Chevrolet officially) as 435hp in a Vette...the ONLY car the L71 was assembly-line installed... L89 ON ANY ENGINE (L71, L78) they were installed on did NOT change the hp rating...

...but I still ya...HONEST!

Got an answer (correct preferred!) for the question above?!

1969 was the LAST year for Corvair...

1971 was the FIRST year for Vega...

...so a ONE-WORD answer will suffice...and there are TWO words that FIT...
