If anyone has an opinion on the light blackout kits that are sold by bigwormmotorsports.com I would like to hear from you.

After 4,000 miles now on my new Camaro I think I have learned now, not to put the car into reverse at a stop light. I wonder why the engineer of that transmission, didn't put some sort of lock or something on the shifter. It would prevent my "Dumb butt", that have only had four and five speed transmissions in the past, from putting the car into reverse, where 1st gear always used to be?

I would also like to hear about short throw shifters for the transmission in a V6. I was surprised that when they imported that gear box, it didn't come with its own zip code.
I do love my new car, I believe I have had more complements on this car, than any other car I have ever owned. (More than 30 in my life) if only I would have known, the ones I should have never let go.(69 yellow RS/SS)

I am a little dissapointed when I bought my car because I just found out I cant put headers on 2012 models... Will they do something about this in the future or what?

I joined this forum today (Christmas) as I have read in the past of many people looking for a 2SS RS ABM as it is a rare find. I am considering selling mine as it does not get driven enough and has only 5,000 miles (with a 7 year 70K mile GM extended warranty). I found this car after a nationwide search and hate to part with it, however it is time to see it go to a Camaro lover. I plan on putting it in Auto Trader in about a month but wanted to give you all a heads up.

Took delivery of my new 2012 2LT coupe with RS on Tuesday and the car has exceeded all expectations!

It's Victory Red with black leather interior - only mod. being I swapped the summer Pirelli P-Zero's for Pirelli Scorpion winter boots with sweet silver and black alloys.

Now I've come down all the afflictions that other fans of this awesome vehicle experience... Camaro Adrenaline - the heightened sense of euphoria when behind the wheel. Camaro Fever - not driving but constantly thinking about the next time behind the wheel. And Camaro Insomnia - actually grabbing looks at it in the garage when supposed to be asleep.
