Not me. I'm not one who gets into doing stuff like that. I'd prefer to drop it off at a reputable shop and know the job is done right. It's worth the money to me and saves me the aggravation of tearing it apart and putting it back together.

I've built TONS of engines. I needed an engine in a pinch and the LS3 block wasn't salvagable..so.. lsx376 it was

Oh I agree, but by the time I can afford that the 6th Gen will be out because I'll have to do a 4L80E swap to handle that power. The trans swap is another $6,500 from RPM Transmissions. Then I'd need to upgrade to a high output file pump and that's another couple grand.

That's why I want the Stroker build.

Lol. That's half the fun of learning.

I'm assuming you've done enough of it in your years. I'm still young and enjoy doing it. Even though I know crate engines are less headache. A lot of the guess work and math are done for you.

The only math I did for the LSX was the tuning, which I got damn good at because of this engine.

vinny since youve been going to the give a lot, ive been thinking about lifting again, you know any good routines? I still have quite a bit from when I lifted last, mostly arms and chest and back is what i did before. I noticed an increase in strength. My weight also went up so i stopped bc of that. I gained like 10-15lbs for that month lol

I've done ZERO work with an engine in my life. Never had a car until now that I cared to mod and now that I do, I don't want to take the time to mess with it. I work 50 hours a week and my weekends are for relaxation and taking care of things around the house since I don't have much time during the week to do it. I honestly have zero desire to do a cam swap or anything engine related.
