I created a new social group just so I could play with its functionality.

You can create a "discussion" thread in a social group. The only problem is, if you don't have any members in your social group, they'll never know anything is being discussed

I think having a single thread with someone who can reliably update it is the best soltution.
I'm doing that right now in a different thread. Sometimes it just feels impossible to continually update a thread. Workaholics needed.

Deeper sub forums reminds me of DOS... your tree can get so deep you can't find anything

I want to bump this because I have a very simple suggestion/thing needing to be added.

would it be hard to allow quoting in social group threads?

I want to reply to one particular person but I have to say "Dylan I don't think that is a good idea" or something like that...would be real nice to be able to quote them.

Discuss.

Thanks.

There's no point in bumping a thread when its already at the top of the list ...

Alright ... but that doesn't change the fact that its pointless to bump a thread thats already at the top of its forum. Proper netiquette says that you should only bump a thread if its gotten moved down to at least the 2nd page of displayed threads, which in this section would take about a month and a half.

As for your suggestion when someone from the staff has an answer for you or opinion about it, they'll post it.
