Lincoln MKZ concept

I am a bit torn on this one. I kind of like the brashness that it shows and it is a hell of an improvement over the previous MXZs. The rear roofline reminds me kind of a Citroen, the new Jag fullsize sedan, and even makes me think of the old Merkur XR4-TI

It's definitely better in real world photos.

That being said, Lincoln has a looooong way to go.

SWING!...and a miss.

The front is angular and mean saying "I want to run you down and kill you!"...but then when it passes the rear bumper screams "I have a load in my pants!" So you realize what the design is actually telling you is : "GET OUT OF MY WAY I HAVE TO CRAP! WHERE IS THE BATHROOM?!?! TOO LATE!!!"

This new MKZ is UGLY UGLY UGLY & MORE UGLY! There I said it and everyone on the boards at MotorTrend.com think it is ugly too. The front grill of the car is one of the ugliest things I have seen on a car in some time. People were even calling this new one Pontiacish. Ford needs to just let that front grill go on the Lincolns its just not working either that or just save the millions and let the brand go.

I do like the interior, but is that a steering column mounted shifter?? Lincoln needs 1. a dedicated RWD/AWD platform instead of the Family car/Volvo platforms they are using. 2. new designers 3. QUIT WITH THE RESKINNED FORDS!

Epic fail. They must be trying to kill off the brand.

hmm... in general I like ford's designs over chevy's except for the Mustang.... But in general I like Cadillac's designs over Lincoln recently. This is no exception. It doesn't look bad, but I really am not a fan of the tiny headlights and the front grille. I do like the rear-end though. It looks pretty sporty, and that's the image the smallest of any luxury brand should convey... I was never a fan of LED cluster lighting either. I think LEDs are great for accents when they are used to light a bending piece of plastic using refraction like our halos or ambient lighting. So That's probably why I like the tail lights and not the head lights.
