I like BOTH of these concepts. The 140S does remind me a little of the outgoing current Mitsubishi Eclipse model BUT when you take another look at the car you see it looks different as well and is an all new design. The first car the 130R is a run-away hit waiting to happen they just need to produce both these cars. This will add new and inspired styling traits to the Chevrolet lineup of vehicles. I like how they have the Chevrolet flags on the side of the 130R it looks nice.

The red one looks more like the new Scion FRZ.

I'm telling you guys the 130R is a RUNAWAY HIT WAITING TO HAPPEN. It's rear wheel drive, the front is interesting I like the small squinty headlights and the front grill, the side profile looks nice, the back end is different the way the tail comes up its interesting to look at and the taillights are different from most cars we have seen.

The point in my statement is that it'd be competing with the Sonic and Cruze if it were to go to production. And with the Cruze selling like hotcakes it's almost like they decided to make the Firebird/Camaro mistake but under the same marquee..

I just think they need to rethink the 140S as a RWD and put both up as RWD options.

Is the Sonic not selling like they thought and they're ready to put a fork in it?

As for the 130R.. I think we're looking at the Camaro in it's very early stages. It needs a grille change (which means keep a 69 inspired grille on there) and some line changes/door stretching, though..

So this design study then just comes down to "Is there a market for a Cruze coupe, or a FT/1 series fighter?"

Essentially. A lot of media outlets are calling the 140S a meaner Cruze coupe.

130R looks like a possible BMW 1 series slayer to me. I like that one.

Don't like the second one.

GM, for the love of God, build these two cars! AND, let me be clear, build them to be just like the concepts! Please, please, please do not water them down, sterilize the looks, and then neuter them with tiny motors! Keep them just the way they are, and give us some REAL motor options!
