This thread grows way too fast!! I wish my weight came off as fast as this thread grows! HAHA.

I've been riding twice a day, still struggling to get more meals in my day, it's really going to be the toughest part of this for me. But I am happy to say I am back down to where I was prior to the holidays! So I am headed in the right direction again. "Going down?"

This is a weight loss thread, we don't do anything slow lol.

It's good to see you put the bike to use, that's a great start. If you want you can post up what you eat and when you eat it an we may be able to give you a few suggestions.

Keep in mind that visiting this thread frequently or even better daily will help with motivation and accountability, both are part of a succesful strategy. There are also posts with useful info and food options always being added

Good for you Joanne! No pain No gain, sore is good, have you thought about a good recovery drink after you workout? Smoothies are really good, I know when I do alot of cardio I need my Potassium, and magnesium, protien also helps with muscle recovery, it also prevents muscle cramps!! Just a tip!

Oh man I don't know about posting my daily diet, I will try but I can't promise. I have to get use to writing down what I eat normally, once I do that then I might feel like rewriting it for the forums haha. I write enough during the day as it is but I know it's a good idea to track what you eat. So I will certainly give it a go.

Posting your diet is optional of course but following along in this thread will give you an idea of what your eating habits should be like and you can make adjustments from there. Exercising and modifying your diet even a little can sometimes produce great results.

It sounds like you're off to a great start already

Good for you for starting the year off right! WoooHoooo!

Took my day off yesterday so I have to run my sprints today! light jog and sprints for 40 min.

Today is the day I prepare all my meals for the week, if I didn't spend a little time and prepare today I would be so lost, gotta stay on track!

Meal 1

½ cup (cooked Measurement) Cream of Wheat w/1 tbl of flax oil

1/3 banana

4 egg whites

Meal 2

4 oz tilapia

4 oz sweet potato

12 asparagus spears

3 prunes

Meal 3

4 oz chicken breast

1/3 cup brown rice

1/3 apple

Meal 4

4 oz white Cod or 6 jumbo shrimp

8 whole wheat pasta penne noodles

1 tsp no fat red sauce

1 tsp olive oil

Meal 5

2 cups romaine lettuce

3 oz flank steak

1 tbl balsamic vinegar & 1 tsp olive oil

1/3 cup shaved carrots

Meal 6

2 oz 90% lean ground beef

2 oz salmon

1 tsp flax oil

I slice whole wheat bread

Now off to the gym after a 40 min. run! I'll log my workouts tonight!
Okay. I read this and just about hit the floor. Most of my diet is a Reeses and a Mountain Dew for breakfast, that is if I don't get my bowl of Cookie Crisp or something to that affect.

Snack, sometimes a banana...

Lunch, I usually just grab a honeybun or something out of the snack machine.

Dinner....Could be anything from a bowl of cereal to spaghetti.

I know everyone is cringing right now.

Amazingly, I am not looking to lose weight, just firm up. I am 5'2" at 105 lbs. Late 30s and gravity are starting to take its toll and things are not as solid as they used to be without effort. I go to Zumba a couple of times a week, but really nothing else. I would like to target my stomach first and go from there. What would step one be besides changing my diet? I actually like my junk food.
