The way many people act around here you'd think we own rare Lambos or Ferraris. A lot of people seem to forget that the Camaro is a mass produced automobile that can be had for less than $40k.

Not really. People have always named their cars. It's actually less common these days now that cars are viewed more as an appliance.

most people that name their car, are people that view their car to be like an extension of themselves. Like how people name their boat. People also usually pick a name that relates to themself or their car.

Like if a car dies all the time, you can name it Kenny.
