Oh please. They'll say any product is a flop if it doesn't sell 150k units in its first year.

It's a $40k car. What do you expect? Even GM was only looking to get 10k sales out of it this year.

Until the infrastructure is in place around the country they will continue to do poorly. Not enough charging stations which makes them less than feasible right now.

A flop is a flop Kevin. It didn't do nearly as well as GM hoped or projected which is why people see it as a flop. I'm not bashing the quality of the car, but numbers don't lie.

I know someone that order one last year. "They just had to have one of the first cars." I said this is a brand new thing for GM you should probably wait a little bit.

And that is the reason for my "see how fast you get bitchslapped back into the union" comment. If Texas even made a semi-serious attempt to secede by force (although what force would be used I don't know) you would see serious military force presented and then everyone and their mother who participated would be charged with treason.

All I'm saying is give the damn car a chance. This country WANTS to see the car fail. Just look at all the BS you see in the news about it. Even after a ton of experts have basically said that NHTSA was stupid and didn't disconnect the battery after the crash test, you still have people reporting that the car will spontaneously catch on fire and is unsafe.

A lot of people are like that with everything. I'm a big electronics nut, but I always wait for a new tech to be out for at least a year before spending money on it. I like to make sure it's proven and has most of the bugs worked out first.
