Why don't you try borrowing a real piece of junk car - like one that's smashed, the doors won't open and you have to climb in the window, the windows leak - a real pile. Just make sure it's an automatic and quiet. Pick her up in that and ask if she likes it better. You got it just for her. Somehow I don't think a manual with a little exhaust noise will bother her so much. My opinion, though, get another girl. She's far too shallow.

Seriously dude..MY opinion is that any woman that has an issue with your car has bigger issues than what you are driving. I mean..you could teach her to drive a stick in 30 minutes..trust me! I just taught my 19 year old son in an hour..so unless she's "one of those" then that takes care of that..LOL..and as for the exhaust sound..i dont know..that may just be a strike against her. I still maintain that a woman who dislikes the camaro may be mentally unstable...just something to keep in mind..
Good Luck!

Dude...drive your new Camaro to Florida. There will be plenty of HOT unbitchy muscle car loving bikini wearing gurls to take your mind off all that silliness.

Really? How many donk and ricer loving Latinas, Eurospec Emo girls, and white trash truck gals' do you need to push out of the way to get to them? 'Cause if you know, tell me.

As for my advice, dude - don't forget to at least try talking to her about it before doing something rash like dumping her or going aggro. You both might be able to come to an understanding. Sit her down and ask her why it's that bothersome, how it's your passion and what can be done about it. Relationships for people our age are built on sex and communication in that order. That order starts to switch around when you get older... in fact, they switch around and a whoooole bunch of other elements separate them.

A chick that doesn't like loud cars? I didn't know one of these existed!

I would tell her the same thing I've told several others. "I really don't care what you think of my car. I've owned it since before we met and I'll own it until I die or until it no longer is drivable. If what I drive makes or breaks the relationship then you're not the type of girl I want to date anyway."

You could also tell her that your car is only temporary and that you have a new Vette on order and will arrive in a couple months that is also a manual and is even louder and see what she says.

well here's some news for you. they do exist.

and seriously, if you need "the right" car in order to impress a girl I think you have bigger problems than just the car.

Idjit...you are talking about Miami...Miami <= Florida, especially the East Coast more north. Vacationers and locals rock. Ask GTA or SilverStreak. BTW...WTF = a Donk?

Dude. Maybe you're doing something wrong? And he just started seeing this chick. It's simple. You choose the car. How controling is a chick that just meets you and downs your car. It's not trivial or chauvenistic, it's just red flags.

If a girl sees my car and likes it:
I like her.

If she smells the overwheling smell of gasoline when the car is running and she still likes it:
she's worth a shot.
