Yeah my sister is the same way as me, she cried when she moved out and came over like every day for a week.

I cried for a few weeks, but know that I don't live close anymore I am fine with not going back for several months. I love my family and want to be close to them, but this is something I need to do. I always had someone taking care of me.

Jaren, take my advise... DO NOT DO THAT TO SKIP. You both need space from your parents. Trust me. We moved about 20 minutes from the inlaws and its not far enough... ask Nick! LMAO.

You guys need your own life. I am dead serious here... it WILL strain your marriage if you force him to spend that much time that close to your parents.

I LOVE my inlwas. They are GREAT people but I need space from them... hell I need space from my own freakin parents.

Once a week for dinner is pretty normal I think but sometimes I have to rope my wife in when we go there 2 days a week, they come over 2 and we meet them out 1... WHOA nelly.... 5 out out of 7...

I worry more about my parents being lonely. I think about moving out and I'm like what if they are lonely?! So hence, the moving near by and my other sister lives 15 mins away too, and she is always over.

They will be lonely at first, but they will love having the empty nest. You can still go out to dinner. You need time alone with Skip. You will be close enough to them.

Skip LOVES my parents, he has no relationship with his father and a very close relationship with mine. Half the time he is over which is 5 out of 7 days he is with my Dad in the barn. He wants to live about 15 minutes away, but in the same part of town. In the country, older part of town.

Jason speaks the truth. You guys are beginning a new phase of your life together and don't need the added stress that may cause.
