Well I guess we are all busy cooking, wrapping, cleaning or last minute shopping. I have been cooking & cleaning. Cleaned this morning. Then the cooking all afternoon. Now I am tired & settling down to a cup of boiled custard spiked with dark rum & German Christmas cookies. My daughter & her new boyfriend are driving up from Florida tomorrow & should be here in time for supper. My son is flying out to spend the holidays (he won't say where but probably New York). It is going to be a weird Christmas without Mama & Daddy in the assisted living facility. Nothing is permanent but change so I guess I had better get used to it. I hope everyone has a safe & happy Christmas Eve & Day.

I got my boots!!!!! I also got the black and red leather jacket I wanted!!! Santa was very good to me....  (although he did mention that I wouldn't have gotten either if they hadn't already been purchased before the SUV transmission problems...)
