Keep in mind, its actually advisable NOT to burn zombies.
reason 1. if they are still mobile and you light them up... now you've got a walking torch coming after you setting who knows what on fire
reason 2. close proximity to other people and hazards can quickly negate the use of a flame thrower
reason 3. you don't know if the zombie plague can be transmitted via airborne means, so now that you just roasted a bunch of zombies, you breathe in the smoke and fumes and now you are infected as well.

the army currently has a system similar to that setup, except its operated by the guy riding shotgun. and its not as advanced as the apache system that follows wherever the gunner is looking. the humvee version has a small lcd screen and a joystick to control the turret. only problem with that is that if you are driving solo, you can't utilize it.

I want it setup similar to my "hidden nitrous" system, save for the helmet that is. cut open the steering wheel and place the trigger buttons in the wheel itself so you can keep both hands on the wheel and still fire simultaneously.

Imagine if you could get your hands on an aircraft carrier. You would be pretty much set. They can run for 20 years without refueling. All of that deck space can be used to grow food. You could keep animals in the hangers. Just throwing it out there

gotta get some dirt on that deck... and find the animals as well tho...

massive undertaking. however, a 6 month supply of food for a small city being distributed to only a handful of people could last for quite a while

well, as another member pointed out. while a zombie apocalypse may never come, being prepared for it will also have you prepared for just about any emergency/disaster/etc that may come (outside of an asteroid landing on your house).

and what I want people to do is critique each others' plans to help each other same way I've been pointing out different things in others' plans to take into consideration. cus you just never know what may happen.

and I'd rather be prepared for it and it never happen than the other way around
