I actually like saab cars well the way they look and the whole key in the center console thing. I hope some one can buy them and make them a better brand so there is more competition

If Saab dealers are anything like Pontiac was, then the fact the company is going out of business is a reason to mark certain cars up not down. I remember Pontiac dealers really marked up the G8 GXPs.

Thats because everybody knew that the G8 GXP was going to be a collector car. Were they also marking up base G3's?

True, but in many cases, bankruptcy SHOULD equal death, and bail-outs often bring the entire industry to a lower level, as one company is able to "free their debts" and suddenly compete and drag the other manufacturers to lower their prices and so on. Bankruptcy bail-outs are used way too much IMO.

The only interest the Asian investor had was GM technology. GM will not and should not approve a sale to a company that is or is planning to be a direct GM competitor in mass market vehicles. Every day that goes by further erodes at Saab's distribution network. I think Saab is dead.

I never was a fan of their exterior designs... I've never sat in one personally. But all you applauding the demise of a long standing brand can be happy that new brands are coming... from even cheaper and less inspired sources!

I am so excited for these...
