Video: V6 stang losing a driveshaft at 140mph

Just saw this video on Youtube earlier today, good for a laugh.

Apparently this guy removed the stock 115 speed limiter on his v6 Mustang and then decided to take it up to "max" speed and film it.... This did not go as planned..

WTF, it's limited to only 115?! That's embarrassing.

That was kinda scary.

Also, holding the camcorder in one hand while doing a top speed run?

Well the Ls/1lt are limited to 118mph cause of the tires not cause maybe mechanical failure lol.

Uh, I beg to differ, but my 1LT isn't limited to 118. It's limited to 155. if you have the 20's, you're not getting lowballed by the limiter...

Check out his new BROWN driver's seat.

Why he didn't back off when he heard the buzzing sound I have no idea. That shaft was clearly warning him to back off. At any rate, this is why you get a GT.

Guys I have a friend that has a v6 camaro and his drive shaft did the very same thing at 130mph. So please dont act like this is only a Ford thing. Ive seen this happen to many cars on the drag strip but this video and my friend are the only ones I know of that happened on the street.

guy's this isn't funny at all. It could have any car. The problem I have with the Video is, 140 MPH and he's holding a video cam. The car is rated for 118MPH, did he have the proper tires on the car? If not when it started bussing why not slow down? If he had of lost a front tire he could have damaged more than the exhaust system and drivetrain, he could have totaled the car and killed his self.

Ok, I'm not the brightest light in the bunch, because I've driven mine up to 126 MPH ONE time. (when I first got it)

Personlly I'm glad he did not kill himself, but know he's got a car he is going to have to fix himself.
Warrenty should not cover stupid.
