95 in a 65 zone.....you're not my type of a safe driver. Now you'll get a lesson and be, I hpoe, a less dangerous driver in the futur. I would even recommand you get a Stang or anything else and stop contribuing to the bad reputation of Camaro owners being too fast drivers.

I wasn't.... I was meaning being a few minutes late for a sales job is no big deal because you work for yourself... Only hurting you if you're late, no sense going 95 in the snow with traffic to get there on time...

You don't need radar to know that someone was going vastly in excess of the speed limit. First, there is lidar which is like radar but uses laser light instead of radio waves. They can also time you as you travel a known distance (from say a highway sign to an overpass). Distance divided by time = speed. Or they can gauge you with their own speedometer. If they know they're going 65, and you fly past them you must have been going much faster than 65. Similarly, they could use the speed of traffic as a rough guide to know you were going grossly in excess of the limit. This can only give an approximation, but its still enough to give them a reason to pull you over.

So there are plenty of ways that they can know you were going over the limit without the use of radar, some of which are completely undetectable.

As others have said, this is not a speeding ticket it's a careless driving ticket so no need to write in speed on the ticket.

95 mph on snowy wet roads??? I don't see you getting out of this one even with a lawyer.

When you go to court, have someone drive you because they are probably gonna yank your license right then and there.

You are very lucky you didn't kill someone or kill yourself.

You're pretty much F'ed but id say get a Lawyer, back petal the shit out of your statement (claim you thought it said "At least you weren't going 95", cry, pay who needs to be paid, do favors, ask why the speed was not written.
