Yay got my new truck!

Finally after months of searching and browsing, ordered an F-150 FX4 w/ the ecoboost. Yes I know it is not a GM, but to be honest I am not a fan of the GM full size trucks, either not enough features or too much chrome.

So hate it or love it here it is.

Nice! Got an 05' f150 4x4. Great truck. When I get a new truck it will probably be another one!

Congrats, always been a f150 fan. Is there a dual front license plate set-up on it?

Both of my parents have 2010 F-150s and love them. I like them also, years ahead of the current gen 1500s from GM, talking fit, finish, build quality, comfort and features (and this is coming from a Chevy guy/former Sierra 1500 owner). Would like to see how the eco-boost does in person. Heard nothing but great things about that setup.

2nd day of having it. So far I cannot say enough about how nice it is. The ecoboost has way more power than I even expected. Very responsive, the turbo's spool up very quick. It's a quiet motor though, so it's not for one who desires the sound and exhaust notes of a V8.

Thanks for all the positive feedback btw, I honestly thought I shouldve worn my flame suit

The plate can be placed on either side I'm sure, but the mount when I picked it up was specifically on the drivers' side. The dealer said they do the b/c the space in the middle has something to do with the ecoboost, I havn't figured out what yet, but I'm guessing its' allowing air flow to cool off the intercooler/trans cooler.

The raptors are very nice too, but more of a toy. If I owned an econobox instead of the camaro I wouldve considered the raptor. This truck is to be a daily driver. Luxury features, towing/hauling, gas mileage.

Those things make the PERFECT daily driver.

What are the gas mileage ratings for the eco boost? Also do you know the tow rating for it? May be in the market for one in the next 6 months or so.

When I drove it off the lot I reset the average MPG. When I arrived home 70 miles later on a busy hwy between speeds of 50-70 and about 10 miles of city, I averaged 21 MPG. The dealer told me before I left to expect less gas mileage now than in 1000 miles or so. I'm not sure what the towing MPG is however. I did stomp the gas a few times. If you want I'll let you know what my MPG is after about a week of back and forth through city driving

tow cap is 11,700 lbs. I forget hauling cap but I'm sure its listed all over the internet. Go to youtube and watch the ecoboost torture test playlist. It sold me the second I watched em.
