My daughter had her wisdom teeth extracted this afternoon. I was more of a nervous wreck than she was. She...was calm. All went very well. The oral surgeon was awesome ! She is now full of her meds and resting well.

Glad it went well. I have been though that with both my kids. It is no fun. The next few hours/day or 2 will also be no fun. :( Hope recovery goes equally well.

I hate Mitsubishi even more today than I did yesterday...

Final repair estimate came in.... $4400..... Damnit!!!!

I debated trading the SUV in last summer, but decided against it because I didn't want another car payment. Now I'm kicking myself.

Don't have many options other than repairing it, because it isn't worth much while it's broken. Taking the $4400 and getting a used car doesn't sound good, because with the way my luck has been, that car would need repairs, too! I could get winter rims and snow tires for the Camaro, but with how our winters have been here the last couple of years, I'd rather not drive a high HP rear wheel drive vehicle. So, my hubby gave me an envelope full of cash today (taken from his business account), and I'm cashing in some of a mutual fund. At least I don't have to start sending Christmas gifts back....

Stupid Mitsubishi.

Oh that sucks! I'm so sorry. Maybe look into trading it in... you never know? I just got rid of my Suburban - LOVED LOVED that truck - 6" lift - 32" tires - I would win in any accident I got into. BUT... her repairs were exceeding her value - new tires were going to set me back $2k... there was something wrong in the front end that gave a wicked shimmy when driving highway speeds - just things kept adding up. I traded her into the dealer for $6k with 100,000 miles on her - I miss her much - but I don't miss the OMG what is going to happen THIS week. I have a 2011 Ford FLEX for my DD.

Yes, I have a HTC Sensation!!!! LOVE IT!!!

Glad she was calm. I would have been a wreck too!!!

When I first went into IPS this fall to ask about having this work done... they asked me... "What is your goal for your car?"

I replied, "I want to scare the boys."

Well I finally got some good news

I received my health envelope yesterday in the mail. I was way overdue for a physical since I'm 29 edging 30 I figured I better go in and I have been feeling kind of sick lately. Well I got the best results. No sign of diabetes, thyroid issues which is good since my mom had thyroid cancer. The only issue I have to work on is my cholesterol is too high. So I have to cut out my junk foods, fast food and exercise more.

11 more weeks till Phoenix can't wait

I'm thinking about hitting Vegas for Friday and Saturday night but I'm not sure yet
