RCR ( Richard Childress Racing) is a member of our club and they hosted an event at the shop last month. I didn't get to go but the they went to the winery and the race shop and there was 40+ 5th gens that made the trip from our club! I really wished I could have been there for that one!

thats cool, wish I'd known.... I would have gone down. My uncle used to be RCR's manager over the fabrication dept and in charge of all the wind tunnel testing.... been a while since I've been to the shop.

jeez, we can't even get people together to go to a cruise in, well enough a strip club..... well we might get more if we did that

on wet roads, I can break mine loose at about 40mph..... and burn them for a good ways..... on dry pavement I can do 10-15mph rolling burnouts fairly easily and through 2nd gear

I know right! That would be a blast!! We can't compete with Vegas! I think some of are going to C53. Not sure how many yet.

Just from oil from cars getting on the roads and the weather here. It never really rains here. When the weather forecast calls for rain, it's just very light scattered showers. Just enough to wet the dried up oil and get everything slick.

The folks from Cali could back me up, they think they somehow gained HP by driving to Vegas because they break loose their tires a lot easier. Lol
