Wow. This is why I try to stay out of the general discussions area. I forget how biased this site is sometimes. The OP never said he "hated the V6" or such, you guys made it sound like that. He just said he wanted the SS. I love how guys with SS's were calling him a V6 hater, but they have no problem turning any other thread into a V6 vs V8 thread. I have a 2011 V6, completely stock. I've raced a 08 Mustang GT, and a 10 Mustang GT and they're both faster. Not by just a little bit, but quite a lot. Everyone loves to point out our V6 has more hp than the 05-10 4.6 V8, ever think of torque? Ever think of the HUGE weight difference between our cars? The OP never would've gotten bashed if he said I might go with a GTO instead of an SS the whole "Hate V6" part would've never came up. Just cause he said he wanted a Mustang, he apparently hates the V6. A 2010- up V6 Camaro may beat a 05-10 GT Mustang with the right mods, but what happens when the OP turns around and installs the same exact mods in his Mustang? Parts are cheaper for the Mustang, and the Mustang is gonna cost him less money to buy. A 2010 V6 Camaro may be newer than the Mustang, but the Mustang is an upgrade over a 4th gen with 150k+ miles no matter what. I just find it hilarious how biased this site can be at times, and how everyone's ready to jump on the bandwagon to take shots at the OP just cause everyone else before them has as well. Grow up people, and OP buy the Mustang. Trust me, this is coming from a V6 owner. It's just faster.

Opinons are like asshole everyone has one and most of them are full of shit. I will be honest, I didn't read the entire thread. In all reality I got bored with it. WGAS, if the OP wants to sell his Camaro for another car. Not my car and not my money. I also think the OP did a wonderful job defending himself. Even if I think his comment about V6 girl not being as hot as V8 girls is WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ![]() I believe the guys around here can be a little uptight at times. Worst so than women. Women will just call either other bitches and whores and move on (I mean hate each other until they see each other in person). I call a guy an asshole around here and I get nasty PM's. What the hell is wrong with that? OP, thanks for playing along with my post last night and good luck with you car decision. BTW, Beck this is not direct at you.

Lol @ thread. I agree with the OP, you can have as much HP in a 6 as you want but it still SOUNDS like a 6. The op likes the v8 rumble, and so do I. Nothing against the v6 itself.

There are systems to make your V6 sound amazing, but if I had a V8 I would leave it stock. I love the sound of a V8 Camaro.

FYI: My V6 has not only beaten '94-'97 Z28s at the track-- but also a couple of mid-200s Mustang GTs. Quote:
you and your LLT are dead sexy-- as are me and mine, and BB and hers. Haters gonna hate. ![]() And there is NOTHING attractive about a Mustang to me. ![]() Quote:
Or get a used G8. OH, one more thing-- how many people on the street can pick out the difference between a V6 with flowmasters and a V8? One in ten, maybe. People are gonna ask you if it's a 6 or an 8 whether it's loud or not. That's all.
