Gonna sell my 4th gen. What should I get?

I been to some dealerships about getting a 2010 or 11 SS But they said they cant approve me for one of them. I guess I don't make enough money and being 21 don't help me. I wont settle for a v6. He said He could get me approved for a 05-08 Mustang GT. Been really thinking about it just because the new SS Is way outta my price range. I have grown old of my 4th gen and it's now at 152k. I think it's time for a change. I really only want a v8. A newer car. But only thing that comes to mind is the Mustang. Here is one that has my eye.

So what's wrong with the V6? Did you drive one?

This. With a little modding as you say you want to do, OP, you can get plenty of power. Plus the V8 will CREAM you in insurance costs and the V6 won't be NEARLY as bad. Use some logic.

Ya, I wouldn't dismiss the V6 too soon, it's pretty amazing the performance they get from these smaller engines now. Before I bought my car I test drove a brand new 2011 Genesis 2.0t. That was a turbo 4cylinder and it was enough to suck you back in your seat a bit. But after realizing that a 2010 Camaro with 10000km was the same price I went to the my V6. With headers, exhaust, CAI and tune it's got a ton of power. It's pretty hard to make an educated decision without taking the time to try out all your options first.

Plus, Rustangs look girly, nuff said.

If you don't make enough money and you're only 21 then your best bet is to keep your current car until you do make enough money and you're not 21.

You don't "need" a V8...you just want one and I can respect that, but you don't need it. Listen to the post below.

I don't make enough for a new SS. But can afford a GT a few years older. I had this car for 5years. I'm bored of it

Sage advice. I wonder if the OP has considered the fuel and insurance costs?

It's looks like the OP doesn't actually want any of our opinions. if he is 'bored of' his current Camaro, I doubt a new one would satisfy him. I'm sure a Mustang won't. It's obvious he is young. Getting rid of a car because you're 'bored of it' isn't much of a reason at all-- who gets bored with a Camaro? And why financially burden yourself with getting another car? If you don't make enough to get the SS, do you really make enough to afford a new car when you have one now? does the current Camaro have any issues that warrant a trade-in besides your 'boredom'?

Anyway, good luck, OP.
