Yeah, going to TX. My grandpa (step grandpa I guess technically) passed away this morning. Going to Kerrville. Talk about a crummy drive.

Yeah wide open flat roads but I'll be following my parents (who are pissed I'm driving separately) so I can't get into too much trouble... that is, until I take off on my own. I fully plan on putting Bella through her paces.

I'm raising my son to take responsibility for everything he does wrong, I let him know when something is his fault, but when he does good he gets praise for that as well. My soon to be 4 yr old just baffles people. Its unheard of these days. So rude!! Ok, gonna stop there. haha!!!

Yeah a virginia tech police officer was shot while making a traffic stop on campus. Shooter killed someone else too, before fleeing the scene.

It's about a 12 hour drive with stops. I'd much rather drive the Camaro than be crammed in the backseat of my Dad's pickup for 12 hours.

Sounds like you were able to get out of the truck ride. That's an upside, gives you a chance to clear your head of all the things going on as well. Hopefully your father wasn't too upset about it. You need your space too and you are old enough to make your own decisions, and if it's to drive alone then so be it. Just drive carefully and my condolences to your family.
