*sigh* Alright, help me guys. I need good reasons why I should drive separately to San Antonio. It's 12 hours and my back won't handle the hard ass bench seat in the back of his F-250, but beyond that.... Stuff my economical, angry father will believe.

Only cause of my back and parents, they know I smoke but it's really bad for my back so they get SUPER pissed if I smell like smoke or my room does. I started with 2 packs a day cause cigs were cheaper in Turkey cut down to a pack and now I'm around 6 or so a day.

I've never smoked that much a day unless I'm drinking, and then it's only about a pack.

That's what my dad does. He will buy a pack on Friday evening and smokes while he drinks. Whatever he doesn't smoke he leaves for the next time he drinks. Good thing he's only a weekend drinker. Wouldn't work out well if he drank daily.

The camaro is better on gas.... driving it is therapeutical, if you ride in the truck..... you'll make vroom vroom sounds all the way there pretending to the in your camaro and annoy the crap out of them........ I can go on if you'd like

If he already knows you have a bad back, play that to your advantage. Find out how long they are staying and say you have to come back early and don't want to rush them so it's better to ride separately. Either that or you have something going on right now and can't leave when they do and don't want to hold them back. Then when you are following them just tell them your boss let you go because he/she understands.
