Heck if you lived close by to me I'd help you install them. I installed my springs and saved myself $300 in labor an it turned out great
Plus couple of brews and good chats would definitly make it a good time

Road trip to Toronto!!!

Haha believe it or not I've done it before actually; a road trip from GA to Toronto. I think it was an 18 hour trip, we split it up in 2 days. Did it in '07 I believe with my church for some mission stuff. Seems like a blur now but Toronto is a beautiful city.

Damn it'd be nice if we could do that. I'd bring the brews!
I definitely plan to install the springs myself to save $$$. I've got all the tools in my barn at home. I'm restoring a '68 mustang so I've got all the stuff: low clearance jack, jack stands, spring compressor, air tools, etc.

Lmao so we saved $300 in labour....but we spent $1000 on gas going to Toronto
But yeah man! It would be fun to get a bunch of the closer c5 guys and girls to meet up and just have a good time!
You going to c5 fest? I might be going this time.
And a 68 stang? That is sweet, I'm trying to find a project car to work on in the next year or so!
And yeah installed my springs with my buddy

Word of advice. Make sure you have air tools!!! I tried it without. Worst mistake of my life lol

Haha no joke, gas would be a killer! And it's looking more and more like I will go to C5. I think my old man will give me the days off from work to drive to Indianapolis for C5Fest so that makes it that much more likely.

And yeah a '68, started restoring it 2 years ago and have been using my summers since then to work on it. No time with school really. I bet it'll be hard to find a good project car in good condition with little rust up there in Canada. Looks like I'll need to bring you one!!!

And I think I'll convince my roommate with a few beers to help me install my springs. Funny how friends won't take your money when they help you but mention beer and they don't refuse one bit!
