I'm 20, and I'm waiting on my second SS to come in. I paid for my first SS in cash, and since I got a full scholarship as an undergrad, whatever I earned I put towards my second SS. In all honesty I wanted a ZL1, but law school isn't cheap kids.
Flame suit on!

I got my 1st V8 Camaro at 17(a M6 '96 Z28 with Lt4 hotcam, Lt4 heads, 3.73s, Long tubes, etc.)... that was in 2002 though, so it was used... but I was still thrilled
I had two V8 4th gens, the Lt1 Z28 and a '99 Trans Am later and i'm only 26

i agree, they must be spending most of there income on a car. which is financially not a good move.

20 years old. Bought my Camaro. Nothing against the guys who had their Camaro paid for by another individual, but I would rather spend all my money I have earned buying my Camaro rather than have my parents or someone buy it for me. It's pride and ownership.

Not necessarily. But likely for some of these folks. Mine has actually saved me some cash on gas and insurance compared to my eclipse i had before.

I got my camaro at 18, and paid it off myself but my parents are now paying for about half of my schooling, which is very generous of them!

22 and yeah mikeSS most of my income does go to paying the bill off but I prefer to be debt free if possible and needed a car to commute to and from work so I got something I could enjoy but pay off reasonably quickly.
The reason I can do this is because I still live at home with my parents who helped foot the bill for the part of my college tuition that wasn't covered by scholarship and they don't charge rent! other than that I pay for everything else myself but am still able to put quite a bit of it away for a rainy day.... or that next mod lol

21, put down 7000 and paying 299/mo. No help to establish credit, save the money, or make my parents. did it all my damn self, and with the help of the Army providing me an income.
