She has good taste in rims, those look amazing, and I'm sure they will look great on her Black and Blue.
I didn't realize her's are 21's. I think a drop would make it look really clean.

I do agree with you, the drop is always nice, makes the car look that much better, but only if you do it correctly, don't go overboard. I've seen one here in Jax who was basically cleaning the floor, that's how low his Camaro was, and that in my opinion just looks bad.

Agreed, on the 5th gen it doesn't look all that great. 1.25" is, IMO the best height, while not suffering too much ride quality.

However, on some cars it can look good. This is one of the guys car in my school's car club. btw, it's another 1.5 inches lower, it's getting to the point of being ridiculous. Looks pretty cool, but I would never want it, waaaay too low to drive daily.

Lmao this thread is still going! And yeah 1.25 is perfect
But those 22s do a great job filling the gap. As much as drop springs make it even cleaner. It's not worth scraping the entire bottom end out if you run into alot of speed bumps
As for me. I said f it. Really wanted to lower it so the occasional lower bumper scrape is worth it lol

Nope. Which sucks because all of our parking garages and other various places have a lot of speed bumps.

It's kind of gotten derailed.. at least it's gone from a sad thread of a 5th gen getting wacked to a slightly happier thread about lowered cars.. lol.

Yeah I got more speed humps then bumps lol. So I have to get over the giant ones, and I checked once how much clearance I have and it's barely making it on and off the hump, so I didn't take chances hehe. And I mean if its the occasional one, and on the bottom end it's ok, not like anyone looks under your car lol. Btw your car looks amazing.

Yea I couldn't do the no speed bumps/humps routine, everywhere I go they're waiting for me lol.
And you are right, we still feel sorry for her, but we're trying to make it happy.

Thanks, I appreciate it. TBH though, if I did it again I'd get Synergy Green over Black. If only SG was offered back when I ordered mine in 2009...

I think that's funny that you say that because when I went in to pick up my Camaro, I had a black LS on hold for me, and when we got there I saw the SGM for the first time in person and I was just amazed at how it looked so I was like I want the green one instead lol. He said he got it from the shop 2 hours before I got there, only had 25 miles on it. It came for me haha.

Yeah man we have a few of those here and I completly avoid that entire sports complex because of it lol those speed humps are literally paint less because of all the scraping it does to normal height cars. I saw a guy take a c6 down over it and not on an angle. I learned the c6 front end has $hit load of flex to it that's for sure lol
And thanks man, I have to show you some updated pics of the car!

Definitly man. It's great when you got the car that was meant for you. My friends and I always drool over SGM camaros here. One of the few colors which look great during the day and at night
IOM is great in the sun. Amazing at sunset. But put it under certain lighting at night and it looks like it needs a tetnus shot (however you spell that) lol
But if a cars headlight hits it. It goes from red in the dark to a beautiful orange as the car lights hit it
