Chevy and Ford holds it's resale value better then Dodge does.

Friend of mine was in the market to buy a used truck and Dodge was always cheaper then the Fords or Chevy's but they (they being used dealerships) also couldn't sell Dodge's very well thus continually lowering the price. Why? I dunno.

If I were to get a truck I'd go Silverado 1500 or as much as it pains me to say it, a Ford F150

1st Ram was a 1996 1500 puchased new and traded in @ 130,000 miles for a new 2000 Ram 1500 that I sold on ebay for $12,000.00 in 2004 with 160,000 miles. Purchased new 2004 chevy tahoe Z71 and traded that in for new 2005 dodge ram 2500 HD 6 months later and still driving the Ram with 196,000miles. No trans problems or motor problems yet. Love my truck!

Gotta admit, I Love the 2011 Camaro just as much now.

Not sure since it is the internet what you ment but I hope that is a good thing?
I just know when he was looking at 2002-2007 like models of Chevy, Ford, Dodge he found the Fords and Chevy's held a higher $ amount vs the Dodges.

Hopefully the newer models hold value better? Maybe that is what you were getting at and if so that is great!

with 90,xxx miles and 4 years later, it is only worth $6,000 less than when it had 20k on it.
I don't think that is bad.

If you are planning to keep it for awhile, Silverado over a Ram. 2 business owners I know used to strictly use Ram trucks...both said the Rams were great at first but overall quality and reliability sucked. They switched to F150s.

No, not yet. I like it alot though! I bet the two tone seats are nice... This is an SLE, and as far as I can tell, leather isnt available on the SLE with all terrain pkg.

So it has cloth seats but everything else is super rad! The local dealer has 3 just like this. So we will see how the near future goes... They are at about 7K under sticker right now...

I assume you are happy with yours?

Get a ram sport. Body colored everything. Heated and cooled seats heated steerig wheel. It's amazing I love my 2011 sport! If you ever do long trips the cooled seats are amazing I drove 14 hours in 35 degree c weather with leather and had no back sweat!!!
