A lot of investigation shows. Have you ever read John Sandford's Prey novels? They are AWESOME!!

I love Lucas Davenport. I watched the made for TV movie with Mark Harmon a couple of weeks ago based on Certain Prey, but it wasn't that great. I like Mark Harmon, but he wasn't as much of a hard ass as Lucas typically is.

I also love NCIS.

I love this show. This is how my roommate and I are. The horse is the Camaro btw.



It is funny because I use to but rich and now I am poor and I can't part with my Camaro (the horse)

HECK YEAH!!! I love those novels! So detailed that you can smell what he smells or feel the cold air he does. Keeps you on the edge of your seat. I think I'm missing 4 or 5 books to read.

Yeah, I watched it too and told my boss he wasn't the Lucas Davenport type. He is SUPPOSED to be tall, darker skinned and haired, and built. Like intimidating, not all gangly looking and old. Mark Harmon does good on his shows, but not as Lucas Davenport . He didn't fit the character at all, and Lucas is supposed be an ass too, and he didn't portray that well either. I thought the other characters were decent enough, but the should have started with the first novel. IMHO

Nice!! We just so happened to watch the first show after HIMYM, and I fell in love with it!! Max is so opinionated and doesn't give a turd what other think. It's !! I think I tear up every episode and Caroline is funny in her own way because she is clueless to things. How funny that it fits your life to a T. Now I KNOW YOU!!! haha!!

I agree 100%. Mark did well with what he was given, but I also felt they should've gone with someone else. The first novels were the best. I haven't liked the last couple as much. Rules of Prey, Eyes of Prey, Shadow Prey and Winter Prey were my favorites.

Yep, I am Charoline to the T and my roommate is Max. She got kicked of her house when she turned 18 and has been living on her own. It is so funny to watch the show together.

I agree with you on THAT 100%!! I kinda tapered off from my reading and I believe Winter Prey is the one I'm about to start reading! My boss gave them to me last year to read during Christmas and I got hooked, but then work picked up and I kinda dropped out. I have Winter Prey in my desk right now waiting to be read. Eyes of Prey was !!!

I think it's time for me to go back and start at the beginning of the series again. It's been a couple of years.

If you like forensics at all I would suggest reading Patricia Cornwell's Kay Scarpetta series.

No she can't cook but our other roommate makes cupcakes 3 times a week. Jenn (Max) told me about a time when she slept on the floor for a year and cooked food on hot plate.

When I first moved out I slept on the floor for 2 weeks then my daddy dropped off my bed when he found out I was sleeping on the floor.
