Stacy, glad puppy's doing better, they call oral surgery on dogs "dirty surgery" because the crud in their teeth can cause infections and travel through their bloodstream. There is a product by Wysong called "Dental Treat". Does wonders for keeping those poochy teeth clean.[/QUOTE]

Thanks I might have to try it out!

Oh brother! We are supposed to have a snow "event" tonight and tomorrow. Now talking about any where from 2 to 8 inches of snow! I guess tomorrow becomes baking and decorating day. It will be fun to see my new puppy that has never seen snow before (at least to my knowledge) play in the soft white stuff!

Sounds like Melissa McCarthy may be up for an Oscar for her role, she was freakin' hilarious on SNL a couple of weeks ago.

That's why I love hanging out with you ladies so much - you "get it" !
Wow!! She sounds a lot like my sister only off by 1 yr. My sister is 34 and we had a HUGE blowout and I done wrote her outta my life. It's sad, really?!?! They need to grow up and work on themselves and not be so about what we have done with our lives. I highly doubt you accomplished all those things in life to rub it in her face, as I didn't to rub it in my sisters. We just made good choices in life, and they are they didn't do the same. Not our problem.

Nothing has changed with my son or daughter. It is not likely to any time soon. Maybe someday. It is so great to get on here & read all the comments of us girls supporting each other. I can't wait for C5 Fest & to get to meet some more of my C5 lady friends. Hope everyone has a happy Friday & a good weekend. We deserve it!!!!!!!!!!!!
Glad everything went ok with his surgery!! Sorry about the kiddos though.

All you ladies have a great weekend! I'm having a ladies night at my place tonight... my best friend's little sis (who practically is my little sis) was dumped by her b/f of 4 years. I worry he's pulling what my ex did and saying he needs space, but is really fooling around with someone else. He's saying all the same things my ex did when he was blowing steam. At least I'm an expert on these things. Any ideas for some girly movies that have nothing to do with romance and love? Probably not the best theme to go with when I've got an emotional girl to entertain.

Maybe a good comedy? I'm kinda outta the loop on movies these days...

Maybe a movie with some guy "eye candy" in it? I'm out of the loop on movies too..........

I wrote my sister off years ago after watching her lie and cheat her way through life. She refused to give power of attorney back to the guy who literally took her in off the streets and gave her a very comfortable life. He consequently became very ill and died broke because of her. Not someone you want watching your back!

Not that I would wish family problems on anyone, but it's kind of nice knowing I'm not the only one with sister problems - or should I say a problem sister - I don't feel so guilty about cutting her out of my life...

Meanwhile, I plan to keep all of you ladies in my life - my new sisters!

I got one of these for my birthday!

<happy dance>
My sweet hubby does not use the internet. He spent 4 hours yesterday driving all over Spokane trying to find a Porter-Cable 7424xp. Even called me asking me "is it a "SANDER"?" "No honey, it's a car polisher."
So he came home with roses and wine instead (my sweetie) and it took me 5 minutes to find one on Amazon for a great price with free shipping.
Really? You can't see the benefit in learning how to use a computer?

Cool! I LOVE my Porter Cable. I got mine from Adam's Polishes and I ordered their kit of polishing pads and their polishes too.

LOVE IT!

What is the deal with our sisters????????? Now my sisters are mad at me and I am not even sure why . They called me saying how worried they were about dad & seemed like they wanted me to do something but everything I suggested or said I would/could do did not seem to suit them so I said "Okay, just tell me, what do you want me to do?". I thought that was pretty straightfoward. They said is seemed like I was in a bad mood so I said "No, I just am trying to figure out what it is you want me to do". WTF? Finally they ended up telling me they wanted me to go & check on daddy both days this weekend & check with the staff to be sure they are giving him his meds, eyedrops etc like they are supposed to. Why couldn't they just say that in the first place???????? Please tell me this...............How is it that 3 girls can be raised in the same home, by the same parents & have basicly the same genetics and end up being so totally different??????????? Sometimes I just want to get into Ruby & drive & never come back! Anyone else ever tempted to to that?

Do you find this tool easy to use like around mirrors etc,and what about swirl marks.I do mind by hand, have looked at those electric polishers but was a little Leary on the results.

I suggest you watch the appropriate videos by the Junkman before using it (go to Adamsforums.com and you'll find him there).

If you use clean pads on a clean car and the correct polishes, you will not get swirl marks. The point is to take out swirl marks.

It's pretty easy to do once you know what you're doing.
