Aww, this is sweet. You're a doll! Enjoy your 1 1/2 days off! I had a short day at my clinical site today and only have to turn in paperwork tomorrow for school. Hoping I can get some rest over the next two days myself!!

Sounds to me like some definite jealousy. She should be ecstatic for you and support you at your highs and lows. My best friend of 15 years supports me through thick and thin. She's the first person to jump up and down and cheer when I do something great, and the first person to wanna kill any guy who breaks my heart. Or listen to me when I have a bad day. It's just what friends do.

I've never been in the situation you're in, but if you are truly good friends, you can overcome this. I'd say give her some space, continue doing your thing, and once she realizes that she's jealous (and she will-- I'm sure she knows she's at least somewhat jealous) then she'll come around. Don't turn your back on her, but give her some space to realize what you guys have.

Said best friend and I got into a knock out drag out screaming match one time on NYE and didn't speak for MONTHS. She didn't ask me to be in her wedding because we weren't speaking. Finally, we made up and never had any issues since. I think it's just part of any relationship to have such ups and downs. I'm sure it will work out... who wouldn't wanna be your friend? you're so nice!!

There IS another girl feeding it, one who doesn't like me for essentially the same reason. I have no proof but gut instinct which I am relying on. I've spent years stroking her ego, buying her nice things (Coach and LV bags for CHristmas/Birthdays every year, chanel earrings, etc etc) and I'm fed up. Our lives are totally different. She has kids and a live in boyfriend and is going back to college to get her bachelor's degree and grew up totally different than I did. So I kinda agree that she needs to grow up a little.

Thank you I try to be... but I get less nice as time goes on because people just keep walking on me. She said some things that really hurt me, and until she owns up to it, I'm good. She's toxic right now and I don't need that in my life. She has a LOT of issues she needs to figure out and has shut me out and refused to let me help so it is what it is. I'm working on making new friends.

Every since I became a camaro owner I have been losing friends well the past 2 years:( I had a good friend that didn't drive. I would go pick her up not charge her for any gas. I would help her go cash her check and take her out of town for shopping on a few times since we have no malls in our town. Well last October we were going out to eat at Buffalo Wild Wings and she told me she forget her wallet and asked me if I could pay for her meal which I did. Well the next day she called me up and called me a Bragging Bitch Just because I showed her my new blue led footwells I had installed in the camaro. I don't consider myself one when I have to make my own payments on my camaro and buy my own mods. She hasn't called me since. I lost some good friends with my camaro but I made several new friends thru my camaro. So it's a win and lose siuation

Seriously.... I mean, my Camaro is like my kid. I baby it; I love it; I'm always messing with it or looking for things to do in it. I'm so proud of my car; it's the first new car I've ever bought and I bust my butt at work so I think I've earned it. I don't understand why people get so rude about it.

YEAH my former "best friend" said something to me about how I'd been 'lying about my weight and clothing sizes' which is total BS... she is mad because she has been trying to lose weight and is still bigger than me (she is 5'1" and a size 12, I am 5'7" and around a 10 right now)... and at first she acted happy that I could wear her new smaller clothes but then she started bragging on facebook about how her friend (my former friend Julie) could wear her clothes now and posting pics and talking about how her "skinny friend" could wear her clothes now... forgetting to mention that I've been able to... I thought that was a subtle stab at me... If this makes sense. Hard to explain.

I thought she'd be happy that I've lost weight too... but all she does is talk about how good she looks I have told her how great she looks and what a great job she is doing and how proud I am of her-- but she doesn't return the favor that's for sure.
