OUCH. I thought she'd be happy for me! What is wrong with what I said?!

I know right!! Mine is about to be 4 and I'm 5 mths right now, and my hubby and I look at each other when my son gets an energy kick, then ask ourselves "are we sure we are ready?"

Wow. OK. She just added, "It feels like you rub stuff in my face. And for wanting to talk so bad you cancel? It feels like you're trying to get me back for something. I wish you luck in getting the teaching job. It has nothing to do with not wanting you to be happy, I thought you were sticking with your current job, Stories change a lot and I never get the whole story. It's just been a lot of little shit that I have let go and let go cause it wasn't worth a fight with a friend but I feel less and less like a friend every time we have hung out lately. Holiday Market was the topper." (The Junior League private event I took her to where I blew $200 on new clothes for her and paid for her ticket and drinks) She went on to add "I don't know who you are and where you're going anymore."

....this is absolutely crazy, she has been biting my head off for months. Ever since I got this job and got my car and joined the junior league.

I hate to say it because it sounds so narcissistic but... is she like... jealous or something???? It's the ONLY thing that makes sense...!

Whatever makes you happy is what counts. You live your life for you and no one else. If they happen to find a comfortable spot in the ride then ok, but once they act out, throw them off!!

Yes old world...and everyone in the family wonders why I left Detroit for Phoenix. Options are everything these days.

I'm sorry hun!! That's never a situation someone wants to be in. Try to calm down, and see what the big picture here. I hate to give you the advice to write her off because she is your best friend, however, you don't need someone like that in your life. Sounds to me like the 3rd party is what changed her mind into thinking of you like this. If she can be manipulated that easily by someone else after knowing you for as long as she has and as well, then she isn't really your friend at all. At this point she is using you for what you do have, yet get mad when you supposedly flaunt it in front of her?? That's BS!!

Haha, THIS. A couple of years ago my dad said because I don't have kids and am not married, "You're going to be 30 soon. You better start accomplishing things."

I'm the first in the family to graduate college, I make more than he does, I've traveled more than BOTH of my parents, I live at the beach, etc, etc, etc...but yeah, I better start having kids soon to accomplish something
