how about just C5? He wouldn't know it's not a full name, and it's easy to put on a tag.

Yeah I got some cousins I haven't seen in 7 years so that would be cool too. Even my regional got on me about not having kids like everyone else last night. What the hell is wrong with everyone lately?

Well! It looks like I just found out why my 'best friend' has been alienating me and been so rude and stuff, excluding me from parties, not talking to me after everything I've done for her/with her.

Awesome.

She said she wanted to get together and talk about why she was mad. She was busy last night; I'm busy tonight. I suggested tomorrow before I go play trivia with the University of Arkansas Fort Smith professors (I'm SO EXCITED about that because one is going to write me a recommendation so I can start using my Master's and TEACHING NEXT FALL!

)

She said "comments like that have been the problem. Maybe we'll get together when you're not playing trivia with the UAFS professors." She said it in a really snarky way.

OUCH. I thought she'd be happy for me! What is wrong with what I said?!

I get it all the time, and I've learned to just filter it out. I'm not interested in kids. Thanks, but no thanks. There are plenty of people breeding that have me covered (like the Duggars with their 19 kids) and I have multiple reasons for not wanting a kid. Number one, I'm selfish. Number two, I'm scared I'd mess up. Number three, I can't handle screaming and crying. I go mad, literally. Number 4, our world is overpopulated as it is. Number 5, i think in our kids' lifetimes things are going to go to absolute hell and I don't really know that I want to put a kid out into the world when it's going to shit.

I think ppl feel that everyone should have kids. I don't get it.

My hubby told me ppl at his work were hounding him because we are only having 2. I told him that #1 it's none of their business, #2 it's my body and I'll say when I'm done, and #3 the economy isn't stable enough to bring a lot of children in. If they want to pay for everything, then by all means, but until they pay my bills they can stay the heck outta my personal business.

That still doesn't make sense. She sounds flaky to me. If she asks for $$$$, tell her your bank is CLOSED!!! I still say write her off. I disowned my sister over the holidays, and I meant it!! You can do it!

Kids kinda get on my nerves. Seems like my brother and sister have had a lot rougher go at things since they both had one. I went to Thanks Giving and there were 6 of them there, it was like a funny farm.

To say I've always been career orientated would be an understatement. There isn't any way I could do the job I do now with a family, a wife could do though.

Just my two cents on it, people have told me for 30 years that I'll like kids someday.

It's just not for everyone!! It's your life so do what you want with it. I'm sure it gets annoying after a while though. Sorry to both of you!! Either way you are screwed though. When you have kids ppl are constantly telling you how to raise YOUR kids and feel that their advice should be taken as though it were gold. I get annoyed hearing other ppl telling me what to do.
