Yeah, that definitely bites! It isn't fair, next thing you know it's going to EVERYONE having to do it. You pay for the space so you should be able to do what you want, as long as repairs are made or paid for.

Pregnancies

So, I'm almost 5 months now and I have been wearing maternity pants since I was 1 month. Yeah, I bloated so big 4 days before I actually missed my period and thought it was gonna be an ugly week for me. Then sure enough, I'm prego. Well, I have been about the same size since then, ok so I'm a little bigger now. Did anyone else with more than one pregnancy have that happen? I thought it was weird. I know they say the 2nd time around you will show/pop sooner, but really?? I feel like I look 7 months and the stretching is uncomfortable. I don't remember being this miserable with my 1st. :( Oh, and the faces I get when I get outta my car is , and then when I push up the back seat for my son to get out = PRICELESS!! Sorry, I know it's not a pregnancy site, but it's the ladies lounge, so ladies problems, right??

Sounds like my pregnancies. With the first I actually lost weight & just had a tiny tummy (It sort of looked like I had one of those mini basketballs under my shirt). With my second I could not wear most of my clothes before I found out I was pregnant and already could not wear maternity pants I had woren with the first . With the 2nd I ended up looking like a blimp! But then Jina (the first) weighed only 5lb3 oz at one month early when she was born. Ryan (2nd) weighed 9lb 3 oz 3 weeks early. I thought I would never lose all the weight I gained with him. Actually I never did until now I am finally back to my pre-pregnancy with Ryan weight & he is now 18yo. I hope you do much better than I did. Feel free to vent here. I feel ya girl. Hang in there.

Well, I actually indulged quite a bit there with my first so towards the end I really blew up. It doesn't help that you usually bloat up again anyways. I started working off that weight gain, I put on 39 lbs with him and he only weighed 6lbs 10.3oz at birth and he came a little early. I stopped when I realized I was probably gonna gain a lot again with the second so I just tried to stay in the same weight range. This one already measures a week bigger than he should so he might come early too. This is going to be a planned C-Sect since my 1st was an emergency one so we will see if we make it to that date or not. I had nausea with this one so I lose weight in the beginning and wasn't a big deal since I started out a little over weight! All I know is once I heal it's on to get back in shape. I already asked Bonnie if she would assist me in some food ideas and work out regimes to get in shape. I'm done after this and time to enjoy life in a healthy way. It's hard to not indulge when it doesn't matter what size your tummy is. Thanks, I am!!! The stretching is so uncomfortable this time though, strange.

In the first 5 years of my life as a nurse I was a OB nurse and then was in charge of the nursery for the last 2 years. The very first thing I discovered was that no two pregnancies, labors, deliveries or babies were ever the same. Just like snow flakes! One good thing though, probably 85% of "second timers" have faster labors. We always hustled those girls through the admit process faster!

That's true!! This one is WAY different from my first. With my son I didn't change at all during the 1st trimester. I still had the same eating habits, same energy levels, no moodiness, not a thing!! It stayed that way all the way through, granted the stretching was uncomfortable then too but that was obvious since it was my first. This one has been crazy from the beginning!!! Granted I didn't have it as bad as some women get with the morning sickness, but I wasn't used to it. Oh, and I was MOODY!!! YIKES!! My hubby was gone the last 4 months of my first pregnancy, so it will be weird having him here for this one and seeing me in my full blown glory. Yeah, before my emergency c-sect I actually went into the ER around 1:30 and had reached my 9 cm before 6. Then they noticed every contraction stressed the baby and only noticed since I had gotten stuck at 9. Then off we went! Found out he had the umbilical cord tied around his ankle, over and around the shoulder, and then his neck. I don't know what he was doing in there.

SAME here. Do you ever find that people always say "Oh, you'll change your mind..." or "Oh, you're still young yet..." ? I HATE that. It probably drives me more nuts than anything else. I'm all about people making their own choices and it really bugs me when people push the whole kid agenda on me. It'd be a cold day in heck before I ever had kids.

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my best friend's kids. I really do. But in general, I can't stand being around kids. At least my mom quit pushing the agenda for grandbabies.

Cold day here in Cincinnati-- supposed to be a light dusting of snow tonight, but hopefully nothing substantial. People drive like idiots when the first snow of the year comes.
