I personally think it would be a HUGE HUGE mistake to downsize Equinox and abandon the established market. Equinox has sold so many that its seeing repeat buyers from one generation to the current model. For example, my grandma had a 2005 Equinox. She put a lot of miles on it and wanted to get a new vehicle, i asked her what she wanted, "oh ill just get the new Equinox, i love them, THEY ARE THE PERFECT SIZE."

Wont be the perfect size if you downsize it to something like an Outback or smaller.
Explorer is selling well. Durango's YTD sales of 42k units really is not that good considering the sales of other SUVs in the market, plus its been on a downward slide for a few months now, with only 3800 units sold last month.

I miss my Trailblazer SS bad! Haha
Went to shop for a '12 Silverado HD and they had one on the used lot. Took a lot of restraint to not ask for the keys.. :(

There's always Tuesday. God I want one as a DD so bad if the resale value wasn't insane.

Ummmmm, Fen..................you do realize that 3800 x 12 = 45,600...................which is higher than 42,000 right? 45,000 units isn't so bad and unless you know the planning volumes it is difficult to call it a success.

Keep in mind the Saturn Outlook was originally supposed to be the big seller of all of the Lambda models. It didn't .......................and isn't.

But (42,000-3800)/9 months = ~4250 per month for January through September vs 3800 for October.

That said, October was only off by about 10% from their average for the rest of the year which isn't too bad.

Didn't the Orlando concept predate them both?

I'm looking at the headlights on the Orlando & Trailblazer...

Some people think the Camaro is ugly as well. I personally think the trailblazer looks fine, and wouldn't mind grabbing one WHEN they come to the US (think positive! )
