No worries, I'm just a paranoid schizophrenic is all. But yes, Quibids has a "bidomatic" feature. I avoid it like the plague.

Let us know when you actually receive the item. There was a report on the news last week about some of those penny auction sites never sending the merchandise, but still keeping your money....

Snake oil and horseshit. Going on 3 weeks and item hasn't shipped, it took me 30 minutes to find a phone number that led to a real person (and you know how good I am at using the internets). But yea, fun fact: if you're listening to an automated message machine just press 0. It will connect you to a live operator. So now I'm on hold waiting to talk to a real person :(

Honestly, this isn't the biggest waste of money I've ever done. Tried to install my own stripes once. Yea that was a fail.

the website owns the merchandise that is how they make the money. its not like ebay where me or you can list it. for every auction they lose their ass on there is a 100 they make a pretty shady profit. its like doing pull tabs at your local bar or bingo hall. as long as you look at it as gambling and for fun, I say GO FOR IT!

Can you bid last second and avoid bidding multiply times through out or is there a minimum amount of bids?

sorry that they're sounding like a scam! But to me the math never made sense. You get 10 people bidding for an item and raising the price by say a penny each time. But it costs them $1/bid well 9 of those 10 people are going to lose all their money... It really is just gambling. Oh and you tried to install your own stripes? I did that successfully after a lot of research and then figured I could do a clear bra... yeah, if you want to fail hardcore at doing your own mod, try a clear bra, you need a skilled installer to stretch that stuff on properly all at the same time not getting dust underneath...

ooops.... I just read the last post about you still not getting your product.. I think you will end up fine. it might take awhile for you to get it. They probably don't have the item. when you won it they probably ordered it and I bet it is on back order or something. thats how they can list thousands of things. they have (none) in stock. just item numbers from different venders.

Every time someone bids it resets the timer to 15 seconds, thus giving other users the time to place another bid.

Yep that's exactly what customer service told me. But it's back on order 3 weeks? That and there was ZERO communication, no emails nothing. Eh it's no big deal, I just don't like the wool being pulled over my eyes.

Holy crap, resets the timer every time you bid? thats annoying! you could get into an infinite bidding war!

Exactly! It'll go back up to 15 seconds, then, after X amount of bids it resets to 10 seconds. Then 5 seconds....... but it can take forever!
