the one I was looking at was a used 11 with just a few hundred miles..... plus my discount I could have it for around $17K fully loaded. I really wouldn't want a LS.... worse MPG's than my 4th gen, bigger... heavier..... and even more of a pain in traffic and harder to straddle the crappy parking lot at work

I'm by no way saying its the only option..... just saying I drove one and thought it was pretty cool to drive. I've driven a Civic Si too, and I think the CR-Z is more fun, and a lot better on gas. 6th gear at 50mph.... hit the gas and it chugs right along. Driving the manual in traffic is pretty cool, its basically impossible to stall it.

Paul, pay a couple grand more and get a 1LS.

yep, you should go drive one if you can..... driving a hybrid manual is totally different..... shift to neutral and the engine shuts down..... at a traffic light, your engine is off..... touch the gas and it starts up instantly and off you go...... kinda like a golf cart

Suppose that's true. Some guy blocked me in at lunch today with his Sprinter. If it was the Fiesta it wouldn't have been an issue, but the Camaro was way too big.

the 3.8 is rated at 20/29 I believe from the factory..... I've gotten 35 on the highway and 21-22 in town..... although I usually average about 14 or so these days
