I played last weekend.

I swore off MMO's after wow killed it for me. They one has drawn me back in!

I had deleted it, so I redownloaded it last night.

I cant wait until this weekend, either.

I think I will try smuggler this time too.

If you can pick the Darth Malek server, do it. Bunch of friends and guildies are there playing on both sides. I am currently playing on Republic as I dont want to spoil the Sith storyline.

Yeah, it's a different version of the client, so you likely would have had to delete the old version anyway.

2 beta weekends were enough for me. Got the third one but dont want to get to burnt out on the game allready.

Well, frankly, for an MMO if you burn out after three weekends it's not worth your monthly subscription....

Wish I would have gotten in the 3rd weekend. Only got to lvl 26 on my Assassin, and it was a blast.

In the 2 weekends I did play, I noticed some improvements. And I think the final game will be even more refined (with continued patching to fix and better the game). So I decided to preorder, partly because I have a friend who is crazy about SW. But I did like how it was very 1 player-ish and actually pulled you into the storyline (at least for 25 lvls).

There are many things that a Star Wars series has going for it, and if it is done well... it could easily be bigger than WoW. (Who, other than Blizzard nuts, know the Warcraft lore? How many people have seen any Star Wars movie?)

In the end, I figure it will last me a couple months until I get my grimey hands on D3!

getting close now. i'm definitely skipping the pre-order part. i will wait for the reviews and maybe the first big update before getting in on this game. but this is the one game in a long time that i am super excited about!! i definitely like the Scoundrel Smuggler, Mercenary Bounty Hunter, and the Sith Inquisitor both options. I'm really torn which i will play first.

How can you skip the preorder and wait so long for such an anticipated game. I already told my boss I am calling out sick next Tuesday.

My PC monitor is bigger than my TV.

PC gamer since my ol' Commodore 64 days! I actually thought consoles would either go away or adapt to more PC game styles. What do i know!? Anyway, I'm glad there are still some companies that target PC games.
