Don't understand why

If a vendor is trying to sell their product, why don't they just put the price? Why all the secrecy with the price. Why do they ask to PM? Does each person get a different price?

Thanks

Don't think they want the competitors seeing the price.

Send a message via AIM to Mr. Wyndham
Vendors (and members alike) are restricted to posting prices or anything commercial in nature in the classifieds section. This helps keep things clean. Beyond that, it is up to each individual how they'd like to communicate prices.

and on top of that, you ask me how much for my headers....i say 1,000

then, other vendor sends you a pm saying, "i'll give them to you for 950 and free shipping."

while it's good for us, the consumer, the vendor who just posted the price got screwed.

so, that's a major reason they don't like posting prices.

What Tag said, and then also most vendors have a LAP (lowest advertised price) that is limited by their supplier.
