some dumbass towel head on a forklift hit the curb while hauling a 55 gallon barrel of corrosive chemicals..... barrel tips over..... I run up and catch it and keep it from tipping and spilling..... he just stands there watching (damn thing is a few hundred pounds)..... They put me in has part time, at about half the pay... and part time aren't eligable for promotion to full time for one year..... ONE YEAR! They've "got no way around the computer". Then he informs me that all part time staff are required to work this saturday (tomorrow)...... I'd already made big plans...... and they kept me late tonight, late to the football game..... we lost out, no more season..... those were the worst ref's ever..... that game had to be fixed! One of our players were 10 feet out of bounds and 2 of their guys hit him and shove him down onto the metal bench.... BREAKS IN IT HALF! No flag! So many facemask and horse collars, that game was a joke. Their fans were horrible too.... nasty cheers, came over to our side ranting on us..... cops let it go.... Canes lost too, and I froze my ass off tonight for nothing. Then a whole herd of deer decide to jump way too close to the camaro on the way home.... All I got to say is..... I'm beyond pissed..... ohh, and there's no way in hell I'm working tomorrow

Stick it to the man. Sometimes at my job I screw off bc I know they cant replace me no joke either,They would need to hire 2 people for me when I leave. I work in a furniture part time while going to school. I do Both deliveries AND sales.

ohh.... and I now have no benefits whatsoever, and they're working me full time hours with barely part time pay..... no chance of overtime, and no free time at all, well enough time to consider a 2nd job

Probably shouldn't be trying to catch the can of corrosive chemicals under any circumstance. Sucks on the HR crap though.

my back's killing me too.... lifting a 350lb drum by yourself might cause that . I didn't want it to spill and have to stand outside for hours til its cleaned up..... its damn cold!

Wow that sucks. The place were my dad worked was like that. Work 58+ hrs a week and only get paid for 40 no benefits or anything

also..... I'm gonna have to work every single holiday, atleast this year I won't spend thanksgiving trying to find my sister..... her BF dumped her in the middle of thanksgiving dinner.... after my parents paid his gas to drive 2 hours down..... my sister ran out, got lost and we spent 4 hours trying to find her. That was also the last thanksgiving with my grandma..... and I missed it cause of that asshole.... didn't get to eat any food at all either. Its a damn good thing I never saw that druggy ass punk bitch again..... I'd smash his face in til it looks like a butthole
