Custom Wheel Mounting ?

To those of you with aftermarket wheels, who did you take them to for mounting and balancing?

Also were you satisfied with the work?

I need to get my wheels installed, and I am just not sure who to trust after reading some of the horror stories about damaged wheels. Thanks!

I had firestone do them. They did a good job. Just make sure you let them know they're in perfect condition and if they mess up you'll know. Take pics to be safe. I did.

You need to send me some pics of those new wheels before and after mounting please. How long did it take for you to get them? I can't wait to see them.

Any tire store should be able to do this. Just be sure they use their newest equipment and their most experienced tech. Often times, it is the actual person doing the work that matters - not the actual store. Then I sort of hover around them and watch them work

I took mine to a rim shop to mount and balance, I heard horror stories about the corporate tire companies messing up rims...didn't want to take a chance.

Like li0nel1234 stated above, have the tire store salesman and tech inspect every inch of your wheels BEFORE they touch them. I insisted on this and just got a $2,000.00 check in todays mail from their liability company for my wheels they scratched up..
If I hadn't insisted on a pre inspection, I would have been s... out of luck.
