I've driven a few L99s..... just not a fan really, AFM's a pain (And my exhaust would be gone in a hurry). Plus the mod's I'd want to do would be a lot easier to do on a LS3. Parking at work is a whole 'nother story though...... my car is covered in leaves and crap now . Also there's a really bad dip in the pavement pulling in that I gotta straddle and crawl over (while crossing 5 lanes of traffic).... same for leaving work

I've driven quite a few 5th gens.... I know all about backin up . I like you can add the camera on the '12s...... I just wish you could get the camera instead of backup sensors...... I plan on ordering a 1SS/RS without the backup sensors.... hate those ugly bumps

That always amazed me that GM can actually get that much displacement out of a small block.

my dad has a 68. Plus he likes the old school look. But i have a feeling is going to buy a 454 block and build it up. The LSX id FI right? Ive been trying to get him to go to FI 5-600hp + 20mpg. While the 409 we have in it noe is like 475hp and 3-4 mpg

Put on a 102mm throttle body and intake manifold and some long tubes and it would probably be well over 700hp....... add in some ported heads and a cam, you could be near 775-800 and still get north of 20mpg...... I've seen a LSX454 with a TVS2300..... those could get 900-950 reliably, and get about 13-15mpg |
