More Competition is coming....

For the longest time its been Camaro Vs. Mustang, Chevrolet Vs. Ford. But there is one car company looking to change all of this. That company is Hyundai. The president of Hyundai acts like they may actually produce the new 450hp Hyundai Genesis V8 coupe. We already saw how Motor Trends V6 comparison went down with the Hyundai Genesis beating all its pony car competitors. Now with them offering a V8 with this much power looks like they can do the same to the SS & GT.

epic fail. sooo $30,000 for a camaro orrrr $30,000 for a Hyundai. sounds like an easy choice to me

Hyundai is not, never been, or will ever be considered a real muscle car by any stretch of anyone's imagination that has half a brain. If you're a ricer, you can try to make a case, but history and legacy is not on your side. You will lose.

I like the Camaro way better than the Genesis but you cant deny it can perform decently.

Don't think it'll steal many 5.0/SS sales, but a 450hp Genesis would be a major problem for the 370Z, Lancer Evo and WRX STi...

Bring it. It doesn't even matter if it beats the Mustang or Camaro - car lovers win full stop. If you as a car lover cares about Mr V8 Genesis next to you at the stop light smirking away, then you should have bought a ZL1/GT500.

I don't think I would buy that over a Camaro, Mustang, or Chally, but I like what they are doing with that car ...

Exactly, I see this as more of a competitor for other import performance cars.

Nice performance numbers but I just can not and will never get over the lines of the rear quarter window. I think Hyundai is the the up and coming Toyota.

They're growing too fast.

It's basically a train wreck waiting to happen. Next thing you know, they'll be lusting after the #1 title only to follow down the same path GM and Toyota did.

That crap could have 100,000HP and it would still be crap. I hate toyota ,but I would buy one before I bought any of that crap.
