I'm behind the time on these modern games. I haven't been able to play too much new stuff the past 5 years. I just know that the games now are WAY more forgiving than they were when I was a kid.

this game is older than 5 years, in fact it held its 10 year anniversary this October
but I do agree with you about games today being easier than the past games.

Ninja Gaiden, Dragon Warrior, Castlevania and Mega Man. Things were hard core back in the day.

Castlevania is (imo) always best as a side scroller. and Not a 3rd person version.
