I did that with my first car. That was a 92 Sun Bird so back then you could just screw a new mirror in no problem. At least it wasn't the Camaro.

I had my camaro for 2 years coming up in January. I haven't put one scratch on her *KNOCK ON WOOD*

Mine had damage on every panel from a hail storm. Now little scratches don't bother me like they used to.
