Depends on the options. Mine, brand new, weighed 3850 without me in it. But you are correct, they, like the new SS Camaros, are not light cars by any means.

I don't know where you got that number, but you're incorrect. Curb weight actually went up 20lbs over the 2009 GT500 to 3924lbs; about 64lbs heavier than a manual 2010 SS Camaro. If you do not opt for the Shaker 1000 stereo upgrade, they will weigh almost the same.

The GT500 weighs about the same as the Camaro SS. Which is 200+lbs lighter than the Challenger.

exactly my point he said 800lbs....which was a rediculous number...just trying to get things in order.
