amazing.....that big a$$ article and never once does it mentions the mileage it gets.......untill the US Automakers come up with or delevope an Econobox that gets REALLY great mileage, Its my opinion that the general public will not enbrace it. that is untill they are FORCED to.

Hell, people are buying the Juke (have you seen this thing?) and "Smart" car (unimpressive MPG for size).... the general public will embrace any design if it's marketed correctly.

Anyone else mad that this thing gets an infotainment system before the Camaro? I know, I know... dash design.... but still..... As a geek, that's my biggest gripe on my 2012.

You can expect 40+ MPG. FE figures simply aren't finalized yet.

Did you say Spark or fart? I know that the Govt fuel ratings is forcing the little fuel efficient economy cars/Hybrids upon us, which is great for those of us who like our big V8's as it leaves more gas for us, but do they all have to be ugly as hell?

Looks are subjective.

Furthermore, folks with Camaros/Corvettes and V8s are at the opposite end of the spectrum in terms of target market.

Sure. It has a ecotec 4 banger, and there have been numerous ecotec to LS swaps done in the past. I'm sure it would take a lot of time, skill, creativity, and patience ... but that doesn't mean it can't be done.

Despite the naysayers, this car is selling pretty damn well for its segment.
